Hi, I'm building my first Pc and I am wondering if anybody has an idea of what I should change before i buy the rest of my parts. Or if anybody possibly has alternate builds that incorporate the parts i already have bought for my new build? 😀 In the end i want a monster of a Pc that can play any game on ultra settings

Date of purchase: next few weeks before May some parts I have already bought.

Budget: $2000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (basically all games from Civ 5 to Skyrim to Minecraft). Rendering and Animating (Autodesk Inventor and 3d max). Movies. Surfing Internet.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: basically any so long as shipping in not terribly expensive.

Location: USA Schaumburg, Illinois

Parts Preferences: Intel, Nvidia, Western Digital, and Seasonic

Overclocking: yes I will be overclocking the i7-3770k to 4-4.8ghz

SLI : maybe

Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Comments: This is what I have thought up so far. i know the Power supply is way overboard for what i will ever need but i wanted a platinum plus efficiency rating and it is only like $20 more then the 850w model. Also in the future i will increase my ram to (4*8) 32gb.

You also don't need 1KW either - you can get a Seasonic X 750W Gold and save some money there.

I also wouldn't purchase those tin can speakers. Save your money there - the speakers that are built in your monitor are better than those.
