Hello everyone, this is my very first post on this forum.

Around 2 days ago I bought a USB PS3 controller knock-off on eBay from a seller from China. It is wired and connected through USB. The thing arrived nicely packaged and all that during the specified time range.
So I plug it into my computer and the plugging in sound does play, I head to control panel>Hardware and sound>Devices and printers. I see an icon for it that says "USB Gamepad". Now, whats weird is that once I right click on it and go to Game controller settings, the list of installed game controllers is completely empty. I have tried installing the drivers that came with the controller in a CD, I even reinstalled them multiple times. In addition to that, I tried generic drivers for controllers yet the problem persisted.

At this point, I thought the controller was just faulty or had a problem, but then I try it on the other PC that I do not use and to my surprise it actually shows up in the list of installed game controllers. I even did not install any drivers for it and it worked just fine.
I also tried testing the controller on HTML5gamepad.com and it actually was working and showing that it did detect my input correctly.

I can not get the controller to play any games on my PC, yet on my other old PC everything works nicely even without the drivers.
Both PCs are running on the latest version of Windows 10.

Any and every form of help is really appreciated because I have honestly ran out of ideas.
