Timing is more important than cycle rate. The OCZ DDR3 PC3-15000 Platinum Series CL7 Edition Low-Voltage Triple Channel is a better memory. But memory is not where I would throw my money. Here are memory speeds for various memory choices:
Code:
Type 2 X Cycle Speed MHz CAS	CAS speed x10**-6 seconds	TRAS TRAS speed x10**-6 seconds
DDR2	1200 5	0.004166667 18 0.015000000
DDR3	1333 7	0.005251313 20 0.015003751
DDR3	1600 8	0.005000000 24 0.015000000
DDR3	1866 9	0.004823151 28 0.015005359
DDR3	1866 7	0.003751340 26 0.013933548
DDR3	2000 9	0.004500000 30 0.015000000
DDR3 21333 8 0.000375006 24 0.001125018

So how much better is the expensive stuff vs the 1333 7-7-7-19 ? Not where I would put my money.

"Two GeForce GTX 275s in SLI will deliver performance superior to the GeForce GTX 295 for about $370, which is $50 less than the SLI-on-a-card GeForce GTX 295."

In terms of bandwidth, the GDDR5 is no faster then the GDDR3 based cards.

Could someone show me some benchmarks of the twin gtx 275 vs gtx 295 and would i need a stronger psu this one is 750w also the one im aiming at is the co-op and if i overclock a bit wouldn't i reach the same

ill stick with one gtx 295 less heat and power and i can overclock if i have some fps problems but i really dont think i am going to need it
