I am looking for the least expensive socket 775 motherboard that supports fsb increases and vcore increases and multiplier increases if supported by cpu model.
i recently bought a ms9 g41m-p26 board for $50 that does not support vcore increases or any voltage adjustments.
therefore i am unable to achieve even a .1ghz increase in the clock rate of my core 2 duo e6750 which was very disappointing.
I would prefer the board support ddr3 ram and pentium d, core 2 duo, e2140, e5700 processors for example.
However i would consider a separate board for pentium d if that is not possible.

Check craigslist or anandtech's for sale forum for a used board. Same for ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Asus-P5B-Socket-775-Motherboard-I-O-Plate-/230712534182?pt=Motherboards&hash=item35b789e4a6. The selection at newegg is poor. Amazon has some high end boards that will definately overclock, but I won't recommend any. At their price point, it's better to switch to socket 1155.

actually the strange thing is the msi board and e6750 are producing the fastest win xp boot up times i have ever seen. without being overclocked. I have all the fastest cpu's so i am comparing to 2600k oc to 4.4 or x6 1100t OC to 3.9.
why this combo boots so fast i have no idea.
but anyway i am trying to build a cheap computer based on these inexpensive cpu.
i have no source for $30 athlons 2 or phenom 2.
I did pick up two x3 445 for $50 and
also i did just pick up several pentium d for $10 each.
so maybe i will just focus on the pentium d and athlons.
and if i can't find a good oc board then i will just go with the cheapest i can and my customers will have to deal with 2.8ghz if they can't afford the extra $40 for a cpu.
