It is harmful to leave a PCIE cable plugged in to the PSU but not plugged in to anything while I'm using the PC?

Reason: Returning my GPU and waiting for a replacement. Meanwhile I'm using the integrated graphics on my 13700k.

Don't know if I should unplugg the cable from the PSU or just leave it. I rather leave it if it's OK.

PSU: Corsair HX1000i
Cable: Corsair 600w PCIE 5.0 12vhpwr Type-4

It is harmful to leave a PCIE cable plugged in to the PSU but not plugged in to anything while I'm using the PC?
If it was harmful in any way then how could non-modular PSUs exist since they always have some free PCIe cables hanging around? Just make sure the connector does not touch motherboard and you are good to leave it as is.

Thanks for the reply.

It was an obvious question but I had to be sure.
Got the cable zip tied so it doesn’t touch anything
