Led tv

LED TVs (and also LCD TVs) all have backlighting systems to control the black and white levels (contrast) of the picture on the screen. Some TVs use fluorescent lamps to do this. Some other TVs use LED (Light Emitting Diode) to control contrast. If the ad states led backlight, it points to a LED TV with LED backlight system.

If you want to buy such a TV, please note that there are several systems for LED backlighting of the TV; edge-lit and full-array. Go for a full-array backlighting to have better contrast and better picture quality. Of course, it goes without saying that full-array costs more.

Hope this helps.
