if you are not making money off of this or if you are not doing at least 4-6 hrs of rendering work a day, forget about a x79 rig. it just wont be worth it then

-no one needs 64gb of ram. you arent building a server


if you are not making money off of this stuff, get this. no overclocking but gets everything done at around the same speed as the x79. (is 10sec slower in most things except single threaded tasks where this beats the 3930k)

-the up4 is a MUCH higher quality board. wouldnt switch it out really
-id suggest 1600mhz whenever possible
-the 840 performs a lot worse than the one i provided
-the k5000 is different from the regular quadro 5000. price difference is 150 dollars.
-i use a much higher quality case
-you used a much lower quality psu. i wouldnt exchange the one i suggested
