What there is room for is a huge ipod touch, that doesnt allow multi touch, doesnt have a camera and is just a huge ipod touch. A HUGE iPOD TOUCH, for rediculous amounts of money.... HUGE iPod touch WTF?!?!?! Apple angers me!
I am a bit late to the conversation, but why can't we have both? Slate mode for when we need it, and docked for PC mode. Is the issue with including reasonable USB support?
Lenovo has tried to sell plastic mock-ups for some time now, and people just aren't interested. Maybe add a little whirring fan so we know the machine isn't totally dead?
if the keyboard is everything for you, you can easily use it with slates. why do you think not to produce slates with i5/i7.
there is no reason to think that people dont want slates with i5 or i7. i couldnt understand your brain working. lenovo's speech is similar to say that everything was found that will be able to found.
Someone forgot to tell the US Federal Government. I work for a Federal contractor and I have Federal requirements to add SLATE portability to a Federal IDIQ contract. They had 6 portability categories one of which was SLATE.
