Hi
I have a lenovo thinkpad x260 which has 8 GB RAM installed, it can be upgraded to 16 GB, I was wondering if I can install a 32 GB on it , a 32 GB single stick as there is only one slot.
Is there any restriction by the processor on the amount of RAM a system can take. Everyone thinks a 32 GB will be 16 *2 and since there is only one slot if wont go, but I can purchase a 32 single stick, both current and 32 gb say DDR4.Let me know what you think.

will this Samsung memory will be able to replace the current 8GB ?

You can certainly try it.

If it works your good.

If it does not work you can send it back.

It's outside the specs of what the machine calls for.

What's your cpu model?
There might be only 1% chance that it'd work
