Yea, I could understand from a refined/better materials point of view but the case does not look like it is worth 200.00$... Maybe it does once you take the side panel off, but IMO there are better looking Li's out there for that price. Anyways you are the buyer, so as long as it meets your needs and makes you happy, that is what counts ;)

FrozenCPU will be geeting this case and side window next week. I bet the price on Newegg will go down to 190.00 next week also.

I am holding off for two more weeks to see if they at least give me free shipping.

--------------------------
Edit: FrozenPCU just got it in and they uped the price to $199.99 just like NewEgg.

I am still waiting for the side window to become availabe before I jump on this unit.

To me, this case is about as good as it gets and I have also been anxiously waiting for this. Personally, I do not really like the Antec cases that much that I suspect you prefer. With this case, when you combine the fantastic tooless design with Lian-li quality, as well as VERY good airflow, this is a no-brainer to me. Plus it is gorgeous. I suspect with your name that extreme airflow is your #1 requirement, but honestly it is near the bottom of my list. This case will handle a high end stock system expertly and will be very quiet which is important to me too. (Just not so important that I use a P182).

Will definitely be getting one.

Haha, yes, to each his (or her) own. I'm more in the camp of don't pay more than $60-$70 for a steel/aluminum box, and after that priority airflow and then looks, but I can see the appeal of that case. I'm glad they finally got it out for you all.

Mills022,

I am waiting for the side window to be released before I pull the trigger.

I will buy it next week to get it in time for xmas as I have that week off between xmas and the new year to rebuild my system.
Let us know how you make out getting it.

Regards,

Mark

I rec'd my Lian Li PC-B25F today. I ordered it from Hampton Technologies in WA which is an authorized Lian Li dealer.

Cost $160 +$15 for shipping.

The case is very nice, I can't wait to start building my system.

WOW!

Nice price!

They don't advertise their prices on the web......
Also, I only see the PC-B25 not the PC-B25F.
which one did you get?

What state are you located in?
I am hoping that I can get the same price and shipping price.

Thanks

Mark

kevin425 ,

I just called Hampton and they said they mad a mistake.
She thought you were a reseller and thats why you got that price.

She wanted to charge me 170.00 + 25.00 for shipping = 195.00

Interesting...I never suggested I was a reseller. She must have just assumed so based on my questions. I live in OR so $15 is probably reasonable for shipping. The case is not very heavy.

Kevin

.... I do not see what you see in this case, with that much money. I'd rather buy the Dragonlord series from Lian-li/Lancool, the PC-K62 of course. Plus it already has a side panel already. So... Yeah... and its only 100$ with the 30$ off on Newegg. And it looks way better. Just saying.

Mine just arrived on my door step. At least thats's what the UPS status web site tells me.

I will be building this system the week between xmas and new years.
I will give a full write up of this case and how it compares to my current rig (Antec 900).....I will be comparing cooling and other items...

Now I need to order the side window once it is released to the public on Dec 24, 2009.

Thanks for the update, Mark_K. I'll look forward to your report on your build. I've also had my eye on this case. I'm wondering about the fan noise. Two fans on top pointing up seems like they would make a bit of noise when compared with cases that only vent out the front and back. Probably worth it for the improved ventilation but will be interested to hear your impression. Also, the price you got is pretty darn good compared to, say, Newegg. Did you end up ordering from Hampson Technologies?

Yes I did get it from Hamton Tech. However, the price I got was based on the fact that I build and resell gaming PC's.
The best price I have found for non-resellers is at:

Best price I could find so far:
http://www.svc.com/pc-b25f.html
$169.99 + Shipping (Not Free)

Or you could bid on thie one:

This is my gift to me!

I'm not even going to open the box until Xmas morning.

Nice. That picture looks really cool with the overexposed lights on the tree. you certainly have more willpower than I do, as I always use the excuse "I have to check it for defects/damage" (which is partially true, mainly for the electronic parts though).
