Hey!

I have a really good deal and my question is: I have a 3080 FE card and the seller sells a 3x8 pin pcie Strimer V2. My card only needs 2x8 pin from PSU and it requires a converter to this 12pin that the FE has. (I think its name is 12vhpwr). My question is: is it possible to use this 3x8 pin one with only 2x8 connected to the PSU and then a 3x8 to 12vhpwr would work just fine? I know there is 12vhpwr version now for the Strimer but basically someone sells it 1/3 of the price here so I might consider using this with a converter instead.

Thank you in advance for the asnwers!

I wouldn't compromise on your GPU's power due to aesthetics. Make and model of your PSU and it's age?

In fact Lian-Li make a 12VHPWR variant of the Strimer v2;

Yeah I know that cable exists, I've even mentioned it in the post. I have be quiet straight power 11 750w gold+, but I think I will plug the two 8 pins on the side and leave the middle one unplugged and then use the factory splitter on those, that way it does not look that ugly, only the middle will be hanging around. That could work, isnt it?
