Hello everyone!

Would anyone happen to know a way to limit XP to a single SSID. I'm trying to set the family laptop up so that anyone using it can only sign on to our home network "HOME". I've looked all around and can't find a solution.

I thought this could possibly be a solution but haven't quite figured out how to use it.

I've tried using the intel pro/set software but there is a bug where you can just press enter to connect to non approved networks.. :)

Anyone have a round about way of doing this? registry? bat files?

Thanks,

I'd add each all the others to Preferred Networks then screw up the security key so it won't connect anyway. I daresay there's a better answer on the way but that will do a temporary job for you until one comes along.

thanks for the response. Not quite what I needed though, the laptop is going to be on the move, access points other than what are in range now could be reachable. I was hoping there was a registry tweak where I could somehome hardcode an SSID. Any other ideas?

Thanks,
