LINE messages storage

Here in SE Asia, most people use LINE rather than Whatsapp -- messages are volatile and disappear when you change to a new mobile.
Is there any way to store LINE messages before changing phone?
As an update- maybe I didn't make myself clear (put it down to age).
I have many messages on LINE. But the minute I buy a new phone and log into my LINE account---- all the previoys messages are lost. LINE maintains all previous CONTACTS but deletes messages
Is there any way to upload these messages from the phone to my PC for permanent storage?

P.S. LINE is the phone message app. of choice in S.E Asia - whereas I believe Europe and U.S. favour Whatsaap.

well its easy, just backup the chat, there is 2 options to choose to backup, which is save as text file/backup all data, usually after the backup finish, it will offer you to send it via email, and when you switch to a new phone/login again after you log out/logged out just go to the chat that you choose, and press import chat history.

how to backup on phone: press down arrow on the top right->press chat settings->press back up chat history
how to import on phone: press down arrow on the top right->press chat settings->press import chat history
