LG LCD TV
There are vertical lines across the TV. Small lines, evenly spaced. The screen is purplish in areas and there is shadowing of images (the shadow shows the vertical lines as well).
I have read that the power board is the first place to look for issues like this. I have looked it over and do not see any mushroomed caps or any other signs of damage. I have made sure the connections of the ribbons are good. I have tried a reset.
My next step is to take each board off and look at the backs to look for any signs of damage.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
