Hello,

This switch supports Static routing.

All I need to do with that switch is to have inter-vlan routing / static routing so that different VLANs are able to talk to each other if the router is down.

Is that possible?

Thanks

Without detailed reading the manual I would say it does not have that ability. From the simple spec sheets it appears to be a fairly standard managed switch. What you need is layer3 switch which technically makes it a router.

The big issue with using stuff like this in a home network is NAT. Not a lot of layer 3 switches support NAT. They are primarily sold to business to use on their internal network not connected to the internet.

With the proper router it can be done but it is rare for a home router to support vlans or more importantly NAT on multiple subnets.

What you are doing is more business related and gets complex fairly quickly.
