Is anybody actually using "VPN-pass-through" (L2TP or PPTP) through a
Linksys WRT54G (on the client end)?

If so, how? Linksys' firmware or third-party?

I know Linksys *claims* to support VPN pass-through, but I haven't been able
to make it work. I get error 721 (hanging while authenticating).

Mystery solved. My university started blocking PPTP traffic to my
departmental subnet.
