Hello TomsHardware thought i could come here for some help!
I have a laptop that runs Linux Debian.
Long story short, I live in a Dorm, with some people i wanna share my movies with, problem is i don't want them running here every time they want a movie.
So i was wondering if anyone here could give me some heads up, even help me all the way step by step.
I already have proftpd installed, and it works with localhost.
Now i just need to make it public.
But I can't figure out how to make users, and make it run over my IP/DNS
++ i only wanna share ONE specefic folder.
Anyone up for helping me that would be the bomb.
Plus, I'm such an idiot when i read a guide on the internet, i always get into some kind of a mess.
