I'm not sure if that should be in another section, but I feel like this isn't a bad one.
I'm trying to install Kali Linux on my chromebook with crouton. Everything is all good, expect when I try to type sudo sh -e ~/Downloads/crouton –r kali-rolling –t xfce in the terminal, the installation starts, but few minutes in, I get the issue E: Package 'xbindkeys' has no installation candidate and everything stops.

If any of you know the answer, please let me know :)
Thanks

Solution
Start with some more mainline like Ubuntu.

I haven't dealt with Chromebooks recently, but last time I did, the idea was to flash SeaBIOS, and use standard distribution from then on.

Make sure you keep somewhere safe current BIOS in case you want to revert back to CB.
