Liquid cooling compatibility

I am currently running a closed loop cpu cooler and will be getting a water block for my gpu, is there a way to connect the reservoir pump (gpu) and the cpu pump into the motherboard (2 loops) or will I need to get a new cpu water block and radiator to just have 1 big loop.

A closed loop cannot be opened up and expanded.

If you want a water cooled CPU and GPU you will need a custom water loop.

I understand that but I was asking if I can run the closed loop and a small loop for my gpu while both are connected to my motherboard (z370 a pro) or will I need to get a big custom loop. Apologies if I was vague earlier.
