Little Help PLease

During games my mouse pointer will pop out in the middle of the screen and stays there for a while. It actually does the hourglass before it and then the pointer but every time i check, my HD is not doing anything. Its annoying because it slows the games down a little. I was thinking its the power managment features but I'm not sure. Any Ideas??

I used to have that exact same problem a while back. I ended up crashing the computer to fix the problem, so I'm not sure what the deal was in the first place. Nvidia drivers can be quirky, especially with win2k and Unreal Tourney.

if you are running w98se go to run type msconfig and pick selective startup then go to start up folder and uncheck mark all. this will give you a great improvment on the preformace resources. you can see the difference
