So I was trying to install a new OS on an empty hard drive with a live linux usb. The live usb was created on my laptop. I downloaded linux cinnamon mint 19.1 and the universal USB Installer
File names:
"linuxmint-19.1-cinnamon-64bit.iso"
"Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.8.7"
Then I proceeded to run the universal usb installer and selected options:
Step 1 = Linux mint
Step 2 = Located path file of linuxmint-19.1-cinnamon-64bit.iso
Step 3 = Chose my 14gb fat32 USB
Step 4 = 1200MB partition
Then create
After waiting to finish that process, I transfered my Live USB into the PC with an empty hard drive. I entered BIOS using ESC key, then changed the boot order.
Boot option #1: USB
Boot option #2: Sata
Then proceeded to restart my PC
It only says
"Missing Operating System
exF
Remove disks or other media
Press any key to restart"
Any way to fix this problem?
