Hello, I have 2 sd 128meg ram sticks in my computer. I suspect that there is a problem causing my computer to randomly lock up more at one time than another have reloaded windows xp home many times. also unloaded & loaded printer drivers as sugested by a supposed computer guru. but ultimately ending in the same result. I have norton totally updated & also ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor cleaning the registry which seemed to help. but still I get lockups. does this sound like bad memory, or possibly mother board issues? or what?

You could download and run memtest86+ to verify that your RAM produces NO errors. The tests run after POST, but before boot to the operating system, and take a while to run. If memtes86+ shows errors, you need to replace the bad RAM. I usually run memtes86+ on each stick of RAM separately so I know it is good.
