Hello guys,
I bought this mouse very recently and it comes with 8 programmable buttons. The thing is I don't know how to use them nor am I sure if I need a control center where I can control mouse settings. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you.

I have that same mouse. You need to have the driver for it installed, which you can get here.... http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g402-hyperion-fury-fps-gaming-mouse/downloads

Make sure you DL both the update and the Logitech Gaming Software, and make sure you select the right type of OS (32 bit or 64 bit).

Note that the main two buttons, Left click and Right click, are not remappable except for an option to switch their order. This I'm guessing is a half ass way to support left handed users, but it's not really an ambidextrous mouse.
