so i just bought this headset and when i try the subwoofer channel i just hear audio that has nothing to do with bass. i had the hyperx cloud 2 and the bass is great there but in this new headset it just sounds like a 1$ headset. any settings or specific software i should use?
P.S: i dont care about surround audio.

Bluetooth connectivity - correct?

Drivers?

Not sure about what is meant by "i dont care about surround audio."

More details needed.
"Bluetooth connectivity - correct?" cant understand your question, my headset is connected with "Lightspeed" usb dongle making it wireless.

idk about drivers but i made sure everything is up to date (G hub firmwares etc)

I said that so if any solution requires me to disable or get rid of surround audio i will do it and i dont mind.

Ask me more questions if needed

Does "getting rid of surround audio" make any difference?

Are you able to provide a direct link to the headset you purchased?

Not only make and model but to the seller as well.
yes it does and it's actually better without it.

i bought it from ebay.

Logitech pro X wireless driver version: 2024.7.60.8851.

and for some reason it's detected as speakers on windows thought this might be useful.

This headset?

Logitech Pro X

Multiple issues possible:

Headset (used - correct) is defective or damaged in some way. Try using the headset in other audio environments to determine if the audio is more acceptable.

Drivers: Directly download the drivers via Logitech's website , manually download, install, and configure. No third party tools or installers.

Note - be sure that the source website is really Logitech and not just some link with "Logitech" in the pathname.

Also watch out for other "enhancements": apps, utilities, tools, add-ons, etc. that may come along with the drivers. Some sort of feature set that may not be really needed or wanted.

From the Setup Guide:

"Download and install optional software"

Often difficult to sort such "enhancements" out. Audio driver vs wireless (Bluetooth) vs "optional software".

All too easy for there to be conflicts with other device drivers including Windows.

And things get confused: e.g., "speakers" instead of "headset".

You can use Device Manager to look for installed devices and what drivers are being used.

Yes that headset.

I tried the headset on my laptop and it's the same issue, the only driver i could find is the logitech G hub and i've already done that.

i do not use enhancements apps as i know they can probably ruin the audio further.

I tried messing with audio quality ( CD or DVD not sure which one is optimal).

at this point i think the headset itsel is damaged and there's something wrong with it.

the audio quality is fine but the volume doesn't seem to get higher than 50%, i can't hear the subwoofer test or i just hear a bass sound with no bass ( if it makes sense).

i have tried rolling back the driver and it sounds the same.

Seems to be narrowing down to a defective/faulty headset.

All the more likely if previously used.

Any warranty or return policy?
it was 30$ without shipping because it came without the usb dongle as i already bought one brand new.

i will buy a new one ( i just need the headset itself no dongle no mic).

do you suggest a place where i can get one? thanks a lot for the help btw
