Hi everyone, I just built a system with the following components:
PSU SEASONIC | SS-400FL 400W (fanless)
CPU INTEL | CORE I3 2120T
MB ASROCK | H67M-GE (B3) H67 LGA1155
CPU COOLING SILVERSTONE | NT06-E (fanless)

I am going to be using this as an ubuntu server that will run 24/7 with a few server apps running on it constantly.

My question is, what is an acceptable range for CPU temps if I'm running the machine over such a long period of time?
I've been doing lots of searching for a good answer but haven't found any yet. Any advice is much appreciated!

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. Ya I checked bios and the cpu was at idle. it ran between 45 and 50 C (I know bios usually rates the temps a bit higher). Once Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server is released, I will install it, run the server under load and check the temps.

Not sure if its going to break that range, but I'm guessing you got the 65 from the Tcase at intel's site? I've heard many different explanations of Tcase, but if your sure that 65c is the upper limit of my temp range for this setup, then I'm happy with that :)

Well i haven´t checked that - i just thought it was it fine range for a fanless system. Here is the link for the cpu http://ark.intel.com/products/53426/Intel-Core-i3-2120-Processor-(3M-Cache-3_30-GHz) It says Tcase 69.1c.
