That's a really solid build mate, you won't be disappointed. However, depending on how much you have to spend, one option you could look at is getting rid of the SSD temporarily to upgrade your mobo and psu (for psu I recommend seasonic or antec) and then purchase an SSD at a later stage. I just find that both the mobo and psu are things you really want to make sure are good quality. Other than that, good, solid choices all around.

not bad, dont expect great overclocks with that mobo, you could have gotten a mx100 and saved 20$ and used that to buy a asrock z97 board, other than that, everything looks great.

Nonononononono. Not good. Really not. There is absolutely no reason to buy a 4670k. It costs the same as a 4690k and the 4690k even has a a improved TIM. That PSU needs to go and you don't want to overclock with that board. There is also a 1x8gb kit when there should actually be a 2x4gb kit to take advantage of dual channel memory. Never buy Corsair drives. Stay with Intel, Samsung and Crucial. The GTX 960 has a horrible value. The r9 280 is more powerful, has more VRAM and it is also less expensive... Jeez you guys if you don't know what you are talking about then please don't try and help someone make such a big financial decision. Jeezus.

dude! Don't be so mean! I agree with your suggestions, however.

Also, BearInABox is the op.

Hey Guys thanks for the help! I will probably be ordering parts soon but just to make sure, is the STRIX 960 a solid card for medium settings on some games? Most of the time I won't even be playing high demand games so I don't know if it is overkill. And one more thing... Is the NZXT PSU Ok? because I didn't see any bad reviews.

You won't be doing much overclocking with that motherboard. You want Z97. If getting H97 board, save a few bucks and get the 4690 and drop the CPU cooler.

Op, personally i would have dropped the 4690k and get a 4440/4460 for 50$ less and use that to buy a r9 290 at 250$, also change teh corsair SSD and get a mx100 save another 30$. you will save money and get more performance this way.

Less money and more powerfull for gaming than before.
this will play all games at ultra 60FPs no problem

If you can go that high on your budget, go back to 8GB, drop the cooler and look at an R9 280X or 290.

Drop the cooler and the z97 and use that money for the r9 290 from newegg 250$, there is also no need for 16gb if your just gaming, 8gb is plenty, newegg also has 16$ of the 256gb mx100 which puts it at 90$.

875$, 825$ with rebates, best you will get

Hey guys, Im going to stick with Nvidia for graphics because I like the 900 series more than the AMD graphics even though they might be stronger.
Edit: Nvm...

Why??

your gonna miss out on alot of performance, the r9 290 is about 40% faster on average than the 960 it also has 4gb of vram compare to the 2gb on the 960, it will last you way longer than the 960 for gaming.
