are you not reading the previous post? the r9 290 is the same price as the 280x but way faster, so why did you add it?
you dont need a z97 board for a locked i5. you also keep changing your budget over and over, you have to decide on a budget so we can help.

Way over what your initial budget was. Spending that much money, go intel. I'm done trying to help till you have a HARD budget.
 
Can you make an all round good gaming pc for around 1000? I can go 50-100 bucks over but not much more. (For Raiin)
