Hi everyone. I'm currently looking for a new keyboard and mouse which will primarily used for gaming. I'm not too fussed about programmable keys as I don't play any MMO's. I would prefer the keyboard to be mechanical and if possible a hand rest too (I'm picky 😛). I would also prefer the keyboard to be wired as I've had too many problems with wireless products so I don't trust them as much.My budget for both keyboard and mouse together is £100. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm probably going to go with the Perixx mouse. I like the keyboard, but is there any good one in that price range with a hand rest? It's kind of a big deal for me as I'm used to having one and without one it feels uncomfortable. Sorry for being awkward.

I have the Corsair K07 w/Cherry Red switches. http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1398976289&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+k70

It's mechanical but doesn't come with the loud clicky sounds like on the MX Blue keyboards. I had a Razer Black Widows but the keys got irritating after a while.

I'm using a ghetto kitchen table chair, I have a small room. Since I can't adjust the height of my chair I need to use the wrist rest thing, the K70 comes with one!

Just a word of caution, the Cherry MX Red switches are really sensitive. You don't need to completely depress the key before it registers. That's both a good/bad thing. As my arms get tired I tend to type more keys than I need to, lol.

If you want something between both the Blue and the Red, go with the Brown switches

I like the Corsair keyboards because they're really easy to clean. If you take a close look, the base is flat so after removing they keys, it's easy to just brush off anything junks that might be in there.

I'm not sure how much that'd end up in your currency, but I'm assuming the US dollar is weaker so it should be cheaper for you! :)
