Looking for a good SSD~ $100

Looking to purchase my first SSD . I'm looking for an ssd with fast read time, write doesn't matter so much just looking to boot my OS from it. I heard samsung 840 series was good but I don't know if there is a better one for my price range.

Also, is it possible to migrate my OS onto the ssd without having to reformat?

Would appreciate some insight

There is a better one than this - OCZ Vertex 4 but that one costs around $110...
I would go for Samsung 840 Pro 128 GB.
