my pc specs are as : i5 3.0 processor intel motherboard dww61h 4gb ddr3 ram 1tb hard disk geforce 210 1gb graphic card. plz suggest me a graphic card under 5k which support high end graphic finely without lagging ?

Ahem. where are you from? Apparently you are not from from the United States, as you wanted something under 5K. Rupees? Give us your currency, your gaming resolution, your PSU and the kinds of games you like to play. Thank you.

I belong to india.
our currency in INR i.e in Rs.
my pc resolution might be 1600X...sory I dont remember now. 240 - 270V.
I like to play latest games.
such as gta 4, nfs mw 2012 , the run , sniper ghost , assasin creed etc.

I need your wattage of your PSU. So under 5K huh? That's approximately 82.8 US dollars. At this price range get the AMD Radeon HD 7750. Nvidia cards at this price point are memory bandwidth gimped (DDR3 memory really?). However, how are prices in India? The HD 7750 might be even more expensive in India. However, it is the best card for this price point and will be an improvement over your lowly GTS 210.

Do you have the HD 7730 at your country?

Or go with a HD 6670. It is the best card under the HD 7750. The HD 7730 is a unique non official AMD card, but it is cheaper and will provide better fps. Give me the Indian retailer website and lemme look for it.

Like I said Nvidia cards have bad memory interface (DDR3 vs faster GDDR5) I wouldn't really recommend Nvidia. However, the GT 630 is still a solid choice (under 5K and is a full 4 generations ahead of the GTS 210)

Well, this is a subject of furious debate and I'm going to present to you what's most important to me. I look at the Price, of course. But I also look for the Memory Bandwidth as well as Memory. (I tend to play vRAM heavy games like modified Skyrim). I also look at what games work best with whichever brand. AMD and Nvidia has games that tend to favor one brand or the other. Then I look at how it matches up with my resolution.

Basically,

Memory and memory bandwidth
Shader/Core count
Price to Performance
any bundles? (AMD games)

Sapphire is better than HIS. GDDR5 is much better than DDR3. This is why I don't like low end Nvidia cards. Because they use slow DDR3. DDR3 can transfer maximum 6.4 Gb/s while GDDR5 has maximum output of 625 Gb/s. It's much much faster and why Nvidia really gimped their low end cards. Their GT 640 are just the GTX 650 with DDR3, not GDDR5. The reason why GDDR5 isn't 10 times faster is because of the bandwidth. To allow the maximum memory performance, the bandwidth must be big enough. For GDDR5 to be truly 10 times faster, the bus has to be ten times wider too (1280 bit interface vs 128 bit interface) This is also why the GTX 780 isn't twice as fast as a GTX 760 despite having twice the shader count. If the GTX 780 has a 512 bit interface, then it would be exactly twice as fast the GTX 760 with 256 bit interface. Sorry for the explanation, but hope this helps!

What about ZOTAC GeForce GTX 650 ? is it good to play modern games in ultra High graphics ?
And i have 4gb ddr3 ram ... This card is compatible for 4gb ddr3 ram ?

hd 6670 can't max out games at 1600* resolutions ..i will suggest you to gather some more money and get a sapphire radeon hd 7750 1gb gddr5 cause it performs very well at that resolutions and will be a good futureproof choice ...i personally own this card and let me tell you one thing that this card rocks and even consumes less power than hd6670....it will let you play games at very good settings at high resolutions .and don't even think about buying a gtx 650 cause at this price range amd hd 7700series graphic card leads and hd 7750 will perform almost similar to gtx 650 in most card and also nvidia gtx 650 won't be handled by your 300watts psu .so my recommendation would be a sapphire radeon hd 7750 1gb gddr5.. i personally have it and it plays every modern games (except crysis 3) on high to ultra settings on 1366*768 resolutions (my cpu is a core 2 duo e7500 2.93 gz which is lot much slower than yours so you will get much better performance than me) ..grab hd 7750 . happy gaming .hope this helps .

Yes if your going for no lag and high settings your just not going to get that result from your budget, if that's all you can manage then an upgrade is better than nothing but just don't expect sparkling results unless you can manage around $100.

Guys, he is from India and his budget is under 5K. With our spoiled first world lives we often forget that 5,000 rupees in India is worth alot. He is making a huge investment. And guys, once someone picks a budget GPU, he throws future proofing out the window. Do not talk about future proofing unless we are talking about high end parts.

well ,my recommendation still would be an hd 7750 ..if you can gather some more money possibly then this card would be the best bang for the buck deal .grab which is the cheapest one ..if you can't afford that much budget then don't even think in your mind about high or ultra settings in modern games cause hd 6670 is not going to give you that much performance at any cost ..for just 800-1000 rupees more ,you can get a card which is much more powerfull hd 6670..if you can't afford hd 7750 and can't gather that much amount of money then please wait for some daily offer to be arrived on flipkart (like 5-7% off on all electronics ) or search this card in your local market (i got this card 600 rupees less from flipkart in my city's local market ).this may help you to get this graphic card without extending your budget too much .

Exactly, where I completely understand his position the question he posed still was what GPU can he get that will have no lag on high settings.

Just because of his situation unfortunately it doesn't change what's needed to achieve what he requested, so we're just being honest, as has been mentioned a HD 7750 would be closest to achieving the OP's aims from his budget.
