My Current Rig - Link goes to PCPartPicker
Approximate Purchase Date: Soon, however, if you feel that I should wait, I will wait.
Budget Range: 1500-2000 Before Rebates / After hipping
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming
Games I Play on Steam
I am including a link to my steam games profile so you can get a sense of the games I play.
Are you buying a monitor: Maybe, if so, a 27" to replace my 19"
Parts to Upgrade: Completely new build - don't want to take my current system apart, may use it as a stream pc.
Do you need to buy OS: Yes, Windows 11 Pro; my current rig won't upgrade to 11.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Trusted sites that are good builders with solid parts.
Location: Orlando, FL; if sourced locally (preferred) they need to deliver (I am legally blind and can't drive)
Parts Preferences: My preference is AMD CPU and NVidia for GPU; however, I don't really care, want best bang for my buck.
Overclocking: If done for me cheaply, sure. I'm too scared to do it myself.
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: My 24" is 1920x1080 My 19" is 1440x900
Additional Comments: Don't need any bling like window or LEDs. See my link above for list of games.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My current rig (see top of post for link) is a bit dated (6-7) years and would like to play the games at max graphics without stressing the system so that it can last another 6-7 years.
I am by no means an expert when it comes to replacing a computer. The last system I built with the help of experts here on Toms Hardware, however, I've recently became legally blind and can no longer put them together on my own.
I know the prices are GPUs are absurd right now, so that is why if you feel I should wait, I will wait.
