Hello, i am thinking of upgrading some parts to my pc, was talking to some of my friends and wanting to go to a gtx 960 or something around there. Problem is some of my friends say it would be a waste some say it would be a nice improvement. My processor and card are as follows.

Processor AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor
Speed 4.0 GHz
Number of Cores 8
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770
Chipset GeForce GTX 770
Dedicated Memory 2.1 GB
Total Memory 3.9 GB
Memory 16 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit
Service Pack 0
Size 64 Bit

So im just here to ask if going to a 960 would be worth the money or if you guys have any other suggestions thanks in advance.

You can't buy from pcpartpicker, pcpartpicker will just give you a link to a website that sell the GPU.
Try again and click on one of the link from EVGA with 2GB and send me a link of the website that sells it 😉

Not Gigabyte but still a 770

I did actually find this http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D78Q2D6/?tag=pcpapi-20.
But that wont do in my rig at least.

But my point was that Nvidia have stoped producing the GTX 700 serie chipset, so you'll 6months-1year old cards, which there is not much of anymore.

That one is out of stock 😉

Thats a 4GB, so it wont be able to do SLI with my 2GB.
