I wanted to upgrade my ram and install another ssd in my motherboard but I'm new to pc gaming and it was a little bit confusing when I was searching for compatible ones

My motherboard is a gigabyte B560M DSH3 V2

cpu is an i5-11400f

psu is a 650w tempest pro

I would like to install another ssd, with 1tb (m.2) and to upgrade my ram from 16gb to 32gb if possible

Download memory support list from here,
link: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B560M-DS3H-V2-rev-1x/support#support-doc

That list contains RAM sticks that Gigabyte is confirmed to work with that MoBo and given speeds. So, if you want a guarantee, pick a RAM from memory support list.
For DDR4, no point going with faster than 3000/3200 Mhz RAM.

As far as M.2 drive goes, Samsung 970 Evo Plus (PCI-E 3.0) is solid,

I have the very same SSD as my OS drive, but mine is 2TB in size.

You are forgetting that the 2nd M.2 slot on OP's MoBo, uses chipset PCI-E lanes and is rated PCI-E 3.0 and not PCI-E 4.0, as 1st slot is.

Thanks you so much, I was pretty lost.
I think I'll add the extra drive first since it's one of the biggest issues I had with my pc for a long time now.

I know it is a 3.0 slot, but there aren't many inexpensive 3.0 drives to really recommend, and that drive can carry over into a future system, and run full 4.0. I chose it mostly due to it's price and power efficiency. Paying more for a 3.0 drive, like a 970 evo plus, is kinda silly, imo. It will still work in a 3.0 slot just fine.
