I currently have an Abit NF7-s v2 and this is my 3 Abit motherboard and on all of them the fan died and had to be replaced.

After this, I will not buy another Abit board and I want to know a good board for AMD 64 3500+.

Any advice?

ABIT NF7-S ver 2
XP 3200+
PC 3200 1G
(2) Serial ATA 160G, IDE 250G, IDE 60G
ATI 9800Pro 128

Id go with an Asus board they seem to be the most reliable.
The Asus A8V Delux is a really nice mobo.

You can check it out here

Fan died, which fan? Generally all fans are reaplacable.

Anyways like suggested above Asus are known for making good boards.

My personal preference has been GigaByte, and has been for a long time. I actually bought an Abit NF-7 just to try it out, and ended up returning it and getting a GigaByte. I'm on my 8th GigaByte board at this point, (I build and upgrade fairly often), none have had any problems. Even the very first GigaByte board I bought is still working great to the person I sold the PC to. Just my personal opinion, but I will continue to buy GigaByte in the future.

First get a different cooler for your current system, then find a good A64 board for your new system.
