I've been looking for good Ryzen 7 7800X3D gaming MB within the $150 range. I found these two are they any good or is there better?

Better in which way ? Performance wise both would do same job but that Asrock being micro ATX has less options/connectors than that MSI. If you need mATX take a look at Asrock b650 pro RS .

from my personal experience, I've never had much luck with MSI. Always felt they were very inconsistent as quality, a board would be great and then the other models buggy and very average. To this date I've yet to have any major issues with any builds I did using Asrock.
