Hello everyone,

Can you recommend graphics card that can run most of today's games at high resolution (even if not at highest they should not be slow) and can run 4K and Full HD movies smoothly

My present system configuration

- Intel DG35EC Motherboard
- Core 2 Duo processor @2.53 GHz
- 2 Gb DDR2 RAM
- 2 TB SATA HDD
- HP 24es LED Monitor

Running Windows xp 32 bit now will upgrade to win 10 pro

Budget decent need great value for money spent

Note : I've a cabinet that fits motherboards with micro ATX form and use Corsair VS450 smps

Thanks

Why does it matter if it's nVidia or AMD? If you want to run things at high resolution, the 950 is the best you can use on your power supply. Your CPU and RAM will hold the system back severely though from running new games, so even after you install the card, you won't be able to run things at high settings or resolutions till you replace the computer.

you are as close as the Babylonians trying to run anything in 4k

you need a total new build

pointless upgrading what you currently have

You will need at least 8 GB of RAM.
You will need a processor from at least ~3.5 GHz
Which will lead you to buying a new motherboard
You powersupply will not be enough so you would need a new one too
And then you need a new GPU because you currently have Intel HD Graphics

Buy a completely new PC... It is worthless to upgrade your current one, and I'm pretty sure your case is too small.

So you can re-use your case, and maybe the power supply, although a VS powersupply is not very good quality.

Unless you have enough money for a new build, I would not bother buying a video card now unless you are OK with low quality and low FPS till you can get a new card. A GTX 950 will run on that power supply, and it is now pretty cheap with rebates. I've seen 950s with $30 rebates that bring it to like $120.
