Question Looking for help choosing a laptop

It's my first gaming pc purchase and i am down to an msi and a gigabyte same price same specs the only difference is that the msi comes with ddr4 ram and the gigabyte has a ddr5 ram
What's a better choice taking into account the cooling systeme and battery's life
