Hey guys, so as the title says i am looking to buy some new monitors.
I need help from dudes than know displays better than me.

So what i am trying to go for is a quad monitor setup.

I currently have the PG348Q.

The monitor is 3440x1440 100hz Gsync IPS. Stunning monitor in every way.

I want to place this one above the triple setup. Problem is i dont know what monitors should i go with for the triple.

I have been using the PG348Q for almost 3 years now and i dont want to settle down with anything less than this monitor's specs.

At first i was going to buy 2 more of the same i have now but the bezzle is way too big for a monitor next to it (around 1.5 cm so with a monitor next to it i will have minimum 3 cm of blackness) so the PG goes at the top.

Graphics power, display ports, desk space is not a problem. I just need 3 monitors i dont mind curved or not, just with the least amount of bezzle, no freesync, gsync is welcome, resolution 1440p and above, refresh rate 100hz and above, and size well.. A minimum of 25" and a maximum of 32"( i feel better with 27's 28's ) so it will look good when i place the 34" above.. Also i dont want to break the bank, i think 500 bucks for each monitor will get me some decent picks..

The triple setup will be used for work first and gaming second so i need at least the middle monitor to be good for gaming.

Sorry for the long post, i thought it was better to write everything down in here so i will get just answers in the comments.

Thank you in advance. (if you still have questions drop them below and i will answer them as soon as i get back in)

Seems to be a lot out there...but trying to meet ALL THOSE SPECS for ''under $500'' is challenging, to say the least!
Have you considered a 3x 1080p SETUP with little-to-no bezel (so they have no ''blackness'' between the monitors), higher FPS because of the lower resolution, 1ms response time and le$$?
3x 24-inch monitors still gives you a combined display 66-inches wide by 14 inches high and 5760x1080p of total resolution!!
(The ACER XF250Q or the Sceptre E255B-1658A maybe?) It seems the jump to a 27-inch costs you in refresh rate, frequency and bezel thickness...

OP said $500 PER monitor. So $1,500 total for 3.

Will you be gaming on ALL these monitors, or wil the current one remain your default?

Have you considered a single 49" 32:9 monitor? That's two 27" 16:9 monitors next to each other with no bezel between them. 47.5" total width.

Yep! And if you looked carefully, you would have seen that the ONLY MONITOR I listed that meets all of the OPs specs, was the ASUS ROG PG279Q 27" Gaming Monitor WQHD 1440p IPS 165Hz @$609.99, which is OUTSIDE the OPs original budget, by +21.998% (MORE, depending on what taxes will have to be paid!!)

The triple setup will be used for work first and gaming second so i need at least the middle monitor to be good for gaming.
As for the ''requirements that the OP set forth in the original posting'', see the above quote. THAT is why for ''under $500.00 (per monitor)'' and a thin bezel, I recommended the 24.5-inch over the 27-inch and 1080p instead of 1440p, for a better gaming experience because the lower FHD resolution will result in a significantly higher FPS rate in gaming over WQHD.

I also believe, that while your recommendation of the 49'' 32:9 monitor is a good one for the gaming aspect of the OPs initial requirements, it defeats the MULTITASKING requirement of using the two outboard displays for ''work'', while the middle one will be used for work or ''coffee-break gaming''!!
