I have a flash drive which shows up in WinXp drive management with a drive letter, but says
"No Media". I don't ever remember buying a flash drive that didn't have a file system on it, so
I'm wondering if I used it while I was repairing an NAS problem (LINUX?)
I really don't want to tear down and reconfigure my NAS setup just to see if this flash drive
was formatted by Linux.
Is there a program besides "Testdisk" which can recognize multiple file structures and let me
know if there is anything at all on the drive or if it's totally blank and just needs to be
formatted?
Testdisk lists my hard drive and my other 2 flash drives, but that's all.
All of the information that I find on Google is for programs that
a) require a drive letter assigned to media
b) write to the disk to verify it or format the disk to "recover" (recycle) it.
Thanks
