Hello, im new here and I was trying to make a cheap computer. I needed to try and find a motherboard that would support the 1150 chipset that is relatively cheap and can support a graphics card like the 660 or 560 etc. I did originally try to see about buying a lenovo thinkcentre however that ended in disaster after realising I couldn't upgrade the PSU with a normal one. So, if someone can sorta recommend me some decent parts that would be great, thanks.

1| Are you looking for parts suggestions for a build or are you asking for a suggestion for a cheap LGA 1150 motherboard?

2| If so then you forgot to state the budget, where you'd like to purchase from(preferred site) and where you're located...?

3| So far what sort of a proposed build do you have at hand? What parts did you purchase to this point? You should follow through this thread and stylize your post accordingly.

Sorry I didn't make it clear, Mainly the motherboard but I also needed other recommended parts (pretty much a build).

I don't exactly have a budget, sounds crazy but something about £150

I've bought an I5-2500t right now.

Sorry I'm not very good at stylizing or whatever.

At the moment that is all I have yeah, I'm a little clueless to where to start with it since I need compatible components.

You'll need to look at Ebay and find something appropriate. Get some 2x4gb ddr3 ram and imo preferably a Z68 or Z77 motherboard so that the cpu can run all cores at max turbo.

or

You get what i'm aiming at here.Look for hdd best new,but can look here too.Same for psu,but again can look at ebay as well.
For psu if working right maybe this,
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corsair-GS600-PSU-600-Watt-fully-working/142553784165?hash=item2130de1f65:g:tgcAAOSwnTdZ82yv
but used psu can cause misery and age is a factor too anyway. If really new,
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EVGA-500w-PSU-Box-Only/112537877451?hash=item1a33c7bbcb:g:2IcAAOSwVRpZndzq
not great quality, but should do fine.

Can't vouch for the state these parts above are in,make sure they are complete (like case).

Don't even have an old pc from which you can use the case+hdd and soforth? Might want to look at a complete pc then.Your budget really restricts what you want.

For windows could you try this for now,

don't know for how long that will last though.

Probably need a cooler to for the cpu,

Thanks for the reply, just saying that 2nd PSU is a box but no matter. I just got myself an old pc from 2004 for free, doesn't work from what i've been told (booting issue) however once solved I have a case and some poor parts to work with(even though the pc was over £1000 when it was first released) But yeah thanks Ill consider trying these out.

Saw the "box " description, but also saw this why i linked it,

Condition:
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details.
probably just a box anyway, but i never buy from ebay so might even be fooled with the descriptions.
