I'm currently running:

AMD Radeon RX 6800-XT
AMD Ryzen 7 5800XD 8-Core
32GB Memory
TUF Gaming B550-PLUS wifi II

(My AIO-Cooler is crapping out)
Just ordered:
Noctua NH-D15 G2, Dual Tower CPU Cooler

Games Playing/mostly used on steam:
PoE 2
World of Warcraft
7 Days to die
BG3
Helldivers
Warhammer 40k Space Marines 2

I'm assuming the Mobo will be the 1st thing that gets replaced, I seem to recall that being my limiting factor. However, since i don't play with upgrades but every few years I figured I would get some input from the much more savvy people over here. I'm not necessarily "stuck" on AMD parts, however I do like to keep things all one brand if possible just because I'm a snob like that; and if I'm going to use "Rage mode" or those kinds of FSR / Tracing related things it seems easier to keep it all with the same manufacturer.

Thank you (whomever you will be) for the time and input!

Then maybe a question to ask is what small update you have in mind. A motherboard change will also mean replacing your CPU and RAM while you're running the most powerful CPU that fits your socket. Any update you'll do won't be small or cheap. What budget did you have in mind?

Why would you think the motherboard is the current limiting factor?

id personally fix the aio if its crapping out.

dont see a real reason for you to upgrade what resolution are you playing at ?

are you using a nvme or hd or ssd for drive ?

faster your drive faster your loading times which can be a factor in wow

cheap. What budge
I'm trying to keep it around $1,000. I know the GPU is fine for what I run. I suppose I'm just semi panicking because I'm afraid the CPU cooler won't come fast enough and the comp will <Mod Edit> itself fully haha. Though my Temps even with the AIO error still shows its around 32c idle. (When comp does a full restart it goes into CPU fan error mode and i have to tweak settings/restart 3-ish times to bring it back up, but once its up it seems to hold fine-ish)

I feel like I'm missing performance somewhere, or I've just not Overclocked or under/over-volted anything in so long that I'm probably just doing it wrong.

SAMSUNG 55" Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen 4K UHD
@3840 X 2160

Im running my OS and Main games on 2 different SSD's and a WD WD10EZEX as an extra.

Why would you think the motherboard is the current limiting factor?
I purchased everything AMD for the Rage mode and all the bonus things you do for keeping everything "in house" For some reason i seem to remember reading or doing research that the MOBO would keep me from really being able to take advantage of these things.

I could just be wayyyy off on my settings. I have a new cooler (from AIO to Noctua) in the mail right now, so if there would have been a different issue i'd like to have addressed it now around when i'd have the computer gutted.

Unless it is a really cheap, low level board, the motherboard is rarely a performance limiter.

i own same board minus wifi its def not a limiting factor.

cpu wont change much once you start going 4k the gpu takes more priority.

4070 ti super would be better for 4k or amds highest 7900 xtx

what is your psu though as that may need to be changed.

i would suggest a nvme 4.0

something like this choose whatever size 2tb or higher

basicly standard ssd

540MB writes- reads 500mb

nvme 4.0 fastest is around 7000- 6500mb on average either of these will bump up your games. and fix any long load times.

thats the strenght of b550 top slot is 4.0 is fastest links to fastest drives i know below.

and secondary is 3.0 nvme which is slower at 3500mb,
