So this is my system: https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/Lenovo_Legion_T5_28IMB05?M=90NC00J9US

I am fairly new to all this tech and trying to learn, I have been hearing stuff about PCI lane bandwidth, Do I have enough to get a an extra M.2 SSD without having performance issues or something? I plan to use the new M.2 for some gaming.

Also on the specs page I noticed it says on the storage support category "M.2 SSD up to 1TB" does that mean I can only get 1TB max and can't go any bigger? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looking at your link......

It appears to say there is only 1 port on the motherboard for an NVME drive.

You could likely install another NVME drive if you used an adapter in a slot.

Looks like that machine comes from the factory with a 1 TB NVME, but I'd guess it could accept one of higher capacity.

Are you using the latest BIOS? That might come into play.

Yeah I can see an extra M.2 slot and it does say M2_SSD2 right next to it on the board and I see the standoff so I know that is where it would go, I am not sure if I am using the latest BIOS or not I guess I will need to figure out if it needs to be updated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

This might be worth a read;

Yes, the max supported by your prebuilt would officially be 1TB for the M.2 drive.

This would also be an interesting watch though just an FYI, don't mix and match ram kits;
