If you want a "deal" then buy AMD. But Intel gives much better performance in CSGO.

You will need a new CPU/Mobo/DDR4 RAM if you want to upgrade to anything more than the i7-4790K.

What is your budget?
I was planning like $250 but ig up to $500 something worth it for the imrprovement cause I don’t want like a minor change , n are used or refurbished parts okay ?

Used parts can be okay. They can also present problems. If you understand the risk, then it can be an option.

I kinda need to know what case you have to know what CPU coolers will fit. But I would recommend something like this for a proper upgrade. I put the Hyper 212 below, but I would personally spend a little extra on the cooler to ensure proper temps and a possible overclock.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor ($379.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.49 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI - Z370M MORTAR Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($104.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Team - T-Force Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($74.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $589.36

At the same time you can get a nice AMD build for MUCH less. But like I said before, Intel is considerably faster in CSGO.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700 3.2 GHz 8-Core Processor ($209.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450M Pro4-F Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($68.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Team - T-Force Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($74.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $353.97

Yeah, that will work with the AMD B450 motherboard and DDR4 RAM. It's not a bad idea. Intel does better with CSGO, but if you want to stream the 2700X is always a good idea.

Yeah, that would probably be a bit faster than the 2700X playing games; but you will also need either an updated B450 motherboard or the new X570 motherboard to support the new Ryzen 3000 series CPU.

Alright can you help me out with finding one compatible or do i gotta wait til they release, I got someone to buy my current motherboard cpu and ram for $150 so Im about to ship it out and start ordering sttuff now. Im trying to order the ram and motherboard right now as of now I only know the ram im getting and gotta wait on the cpu to come out
