Does anybody still play this game. I've found this game to be very addictive and would like sierra to bring out an updated version. Share some comments.

Every six months or so I dig it out and play it through to the end, with the siege pack too.

Thoroughly enjoyable, although as the levels get harder it becomes more repetitve. I find if I can get six hundred archers in a Royal Castle I've won the game.

With the siege pack however the opponents start destroying your fields, forcing you to come out and fight. This adds a bit of concern.

As to Andrewbadlose's opinion, I've only ever had one problem. When you come to have a battle, you have the game paused and give out orders to the siege weapons and the troops. Take off the pause and the game sods off and you have your desktop. Aaarrgghh!

Save the game before each siege battle and this shouldn't happen.

Yeah it can be pretty repetious. That graphics weren't that good, but for the time they were ok. I would really love to see a rerelease of this game. I know there are a lot of games sorta like it. But I like the time period that this is set in. There could be more things done to make the game more enjoyable. It's a great game for skirmishes.

I think THG should have a chat room....but then I guess a lot of people that aren't on at that time will miss out on all of our important discussions....so bad idea. Oh and by the by Lords of the realm II is awesome. Has anyone played Legend Of the Red Dragon. It's a very old text based game, but it is also one of my all time favorites. I remember I used to subscribe to a bbs to play that game.

I see stupid post. They're posted like everyone else. They don't even know there stupid!

i still play it sometimes too lol.... it was the most addicting game next to d2! kinda looking forward to the 3rd one...... LoTR III!!! i saw something about it on the december copy of PC gamer... never found article ????? maybie im just blind

anyway the only thing i regret about it was when i tryed getting it to work at a lan party.... everyone shouts NO! NO! NO Lords! MORE Half-life!!

I've played both and would rather play lords. I would like to see a new version.

Eh, not like any of the ones near the top were gettin much use :). Might as well bring up a classic (to be honest, I realized how dead the thread was about 2 seconds after hitting continue, but I still maintain that the game warrants it!)
