[SOLVED] losing my signal when updating gpu drivers

So im trying to upgrade to a geforce 1660 super gpu but when i install the drivers i lose signal when the install is about half way done.when i try to reboot i get to the windows logo after bios then i lose signal again.im only able to boot into safe mode where i can then uninstall drivers ect ect.I have tried different monitors and display ports and hard drives all the same issue. windows 10 is up to date

i know my parts are old but they should be compatible from what i researched i may be wrong

i was using a 750 card before i made the upgrade and it worked fine.If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated

i have done a fresh install of windows and with no other gpu drivers install still not worked also have tried older driver versions

used DDU to uninstall all drivers also in safe mode still run into same issue when trying to update drivers
