Losing power durning upgrade.

I write this while sitting at home during a thunderstorm. I've got a gaming PC that I built myself in my room currently upgrading to windows 10 (plugged into a surge protector), and it has just occurred to me that I may lose power. What would happen if I did... I cant imagine it would be good. I'm very worried as I have spent a lot of money on this computer and I am not very familiar with windows.

What are you upgrading from to windows 10? If you lost power you might have to install original OS again.
