Lost pictures on kodak easyshare software

just asking what is in the thread,keep on losing pictures for no reason,why does this keep on happening and what can i do in future to stop it,it is getting really annoying,cheers

Are you sure you Lost the pictures or is it that the software places them in Default directories you are not aware of ? Do not download pictures with Kodak software, use Windows Explorer to copy or move to a directory you want. Camera should show as external storage device when set to USB mode. Otherwise, take out the flash card and put it in a reader, again use Windows Explorer.

Or even the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard does an OK job.

To find your photos you can right click on C: then search on *.jpg

Hi thanks for the info will give it a go,but i have since read that i am not the only one having problems with kodak easyshare so maybe will look into using some other software
