Lost Scanned Documents- Help Needed ASAP

So I just recently got a new printer and installed it on my laptop and I lost all my scanned documents from my previous printer. What can I do? Help needed ASAP!

what do you mean? This question is not very descriptive.

Where did you store these said scanned documents? Do you happen to know the name of one (answer is probably no) but you could try searching your computer for one of the scanned documents. Did you not move them to your picture folder.

Did you perhaps have the previous printer's software create the "save to" folder for scanned documents during it's installation and then never moved the documents elsewhere?

And then perhaps uninstalled the old printer software before installing the new printer's software? This process would have deleted all "old printer" associated folders, including the "save-to" folder and contents.

If so file recovery is the only bet, hoping that the drive activity since the uninstall did not overwrite what you want to retrieve.
