i put a new power supply and x1950 pro into my comp.
when i turned it on i lost all video(black screen)
so i took out the video card put back in my 1600 pro and still nothing
so i took out new pwr supply put the old one back in and reset the bios
tried using the onboard video, still nothing
everything seems to boot fine from what i can tell, hdd light stops at aprox the time it would before but no video.
tested monitor on diff comp and is fine, cant test video cards as i only have 1 pci-e comp.

just wondering if my mobo is pooched somehow

If your getting no video when connected to either the video card or the on-board video, very likely your mobo is bad given you monitor is good
