I moved my computer back to my house today. It had previously been working perfectly fine. However, when I booted it up after moving it, there was a loud pop sound followed by the computer completely shutting off. The computer then rebooted itself and managed to fully load into Windows. I turned it off just to be safe. There wasn't any noticeable burn marks or electrical smells from what I could quickly see. What should my steps be in trying to determine what the problem was and if any components were damaged?

Edit: I'm also wondering if maybe it could've been the battery backup that the PC is connected to?

Specs including make and model of the power supply?

Once worked on an hp/compaq pc when I started it up saw a spark inside and almost sounded like a .22 going off. At that point I was like nope not touching. I think in that instance there must have been a cap on the board that went out. But child be if you have a lower quality psu that it was having issues.
